A few of the steps that I have implemented for our family have helped ensure smoother mornings. Although, as the weather gets colder sometimes it is a struggle to not hit snooze and remain in bed for a couple of extra zzzz’s, but these trustworthy strategies help for happy and healthy mornings!

Wake up at least 10 Minutes earlier

I have noticed that even The difference of 10 minutes of quiet time before I must wake up the children could make such a huge difference in my own patience in the morning. Although 10 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot, it helps to get a couple of minutes of quiet time to open your eyes & get a cup of coffee prior to waking the babes.

Prepare Films the night before

It Is Very Important That the Girls and I have our outfit prepared for the following day. Otherwise, one or most of us can spend countless minutes looking for an outfit. . .the right shirt or clean pants to wear; squandering precious time until we get out the door.

Pack lunches and reserve bags the night before

Once again, this falls Under the thought that you are not running around like a chicken with your head chopped off trying to locate everything that’s required for the day. Pack up luggage the night before to guarantee everything is ready to go and there is 1 less item in your to-do list.

Eat breakfast

Eat something, doesn’t Have to become a large meal however even something quick and simple can make certain you have a much better day!

Make your bed
